About Me
Hi! I’m Mirta and I provide specialised language services from English and French into Italian.
From marketing translation to subtitling and transcreation, my job is to find the most suitable solution to your needs.
I work as an independent translator with direct clients, including private customers, businesses and associations, as well as with Language Service Providers (aka translation agencies), offering my language services to their end clients.
My credentials
- Master’s Degree in Language, Society and Communication (Università di Bologna)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural and Linguistic Mediation (Università degli Studi di Milano)
- French High-School Diploma in Socio-Economic Sciences (Lycée International de Valbonne)
- 6+ years as a professional dancer working in an international environment, which gave me a unique and deep understanding of the arts and culture industry. From my past career I inherited high precision, attention to detail, creativity, as well as a client-oriented approach based on excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to listen to other people’s needs.
- I’m a proud member of the Italian professional association Aniti.
My story
My passion for foreign languages started many years before obtaining my university degrees.
When I was 13 years old I moved to France, where I lived and studied for 7 years. This experience allowed me to learn French to a near-native level, in addition to English and Spanish, which formed part of my school curriculum.
Being able to communicate with people from all over the world is what led me to pursue a career in the language industry. I dreamt of using my language skills to help others access the same variety of information, services, and opportunities that I could.
I know first-hand that overcoming language barriers is paramount to achieving your objectives in another country, gaining your audience’s trust and building strong relationships with your partners and clients.
That’s why I am passionate about my job, and I will go the extra mile to help you succeed by reaching your goals.

CPD is an essential part of my profession. Not only it allows me to update my skills, but it also benefits my clients, who can count on my expertise. I regularly travel abroad, read in all my work languages, attend relevant training courses, webinars, and events.

My working process includes several steps: an initial assessment of the text, a tailored proposal and quote, a brief, the actual work on the text, and quality assurance procedures before the final delivery. Depending on the type of text and service we might agree on more intermediate steps. I will always keep you well-informed and up-to-date and answer all your questions.
Respect of your time
I will only take on projects that I can fit into my schedule and deliver on time. I always meet the deadlines, and if a problem arises, I will make sure to let you know in time and do everything in my power not to cause you any inconvenience.
